So weird that he never bothered to drive it. Only 20,000 original miles! He was probably too embarrassed to be seen in it.

Wow what a time capsule! I had a 1989 model with the 1.8 and auto, same exterior color and interior color.

Man that 80s interior. Also looks clean for a car up near Cleveland. Though 20k is basically new for this thing

Man. I would kinda be tempted if I had the money... except this one is FWD and automatic and I really don’t think it’s worth the money.
I do love these cars though. Had 3 of them. A turbo 4WD, a completely base (and I mean BASE) 2WD, and a FT4WD XT6 (Subaru’s first flat 6).
My favorite was actually the base model. The turbo one was super cool but had a tendency toward self-destruction. I think I got about 600 miles out of it in between both the transmission AND the engine failing.
6 cylinder one was neat but felt sluggish for the amount of power it put out, and more than anything just felt heavy.
The base model one though? Super duper lightweight. No A/C, no power steering, manual everything, and just a shelf where the back seat was supposed to be. It was so much fun to fling around on the back roads.
